Cumulus is a privately commissioned water feature, produced in 2010 as the centre piece of an expansive family home.
The work is comprised of a floating reflection pool and a descending chandelier form fabricated in stainless steel. Spanning two levels of the home this form draws the eye upwards to an abstract representation of a rain cloud.
Over the course of the day, dramatic shadows move across the walls of the central atrium. At night, refracted light from submerged sources flickers throughout the space.
