Mobiomorphous - public art - stainless steel - Eastern Rd South Melbourne - 2017

A Möbius Strip is a form that can exist in three dimensional Euclidean space but has only one surface and one edge.
Beginning at a single point and tracing a line along a Möbius strip results in a line that traverses the whole of the surface and returns to the starting point whilst seemingly having travelled along both the inside and outside of the form.

This was the launching point for our concept Möbiomorphous, an abstract sculpture that examines the inextricably connected duality of the heart and the mind, of knowing and feeling, of examining the self and being examined by the self.
